The Stafford Loan is an affordable, fixed-rate loan designed for undergraduates and
graduate students.
Before completing the Master Promissory Note, have you:
1. Completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid?
2. Received your Offer Letter postcard or e-mail from your school?
3. Submitted the Stafford Loan Activation Form to the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships? If not, please contact the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships before completing the Master Promissory Note.
First-time Stafford Loan borrowers are required to complete Entrance Counseling before any Stafford Loan funds may be disbursed. Please click here to complete your Entrance Counseling sessions on EdTest.
